"I've got more of a reason to fight than the others do. So what's wrong with me?!"

Home is the twelfth episode of the first season of Power Rangers: Time Force and the twelfth episode overall. In this episode, Alex starts losing his perception of time and place and is hospitalized. While the other Rangers are out attempting to explain to their parents their involvement in the strange events that are plaguing Silver Hills, Alex must defend the hospital he is stuck in from a skinless mutant in a robotic suit with the ability to mutate people.

Plot[]

While delivering letters, Alex and Katie discuss their current lives. Alex, observing the sky, comments on how the sky seems different in 2001 than the one in 3001. After both go home, Katie's parents confront her, asking her about her strange disappearances in recent events. Katie manages to cause a distraction and escapes, which leads to her parents calling Trip's parents to talk about their children's strange behaviour.

At the Londerz Cryo-Prison, Gluto is dismayed to find that Lila has taken his money supplies yet again. When Lila returns from shopping, Gluto yells at her, telling her that she cannot keep spending money like they are still in the 31st century. This results in an argument between the two, much to the annoyance of Ransik and Nadira, who have no concern for money. Laurmark interrupts the argument by picking up a cryo-pod and suggesting unthawing the strange-looking prisoner inside.

That night at the Scotts Manor, Jen is up late on her computer before Alex runs from the basement, screaming about being late for something, alerting the manor's security team. Alex escapes before they can see him, and Erin asks Jen about the commotion. Jen, unable to reply, dodges out of the conversation. Erin calls Lucas's parents about their children's behaviour and they agree to confront them about it tomorrow. Jen teleports out of the manor and goes after Alex, who keeps running towards the town centre, professing about being late for work and how his father will be mad at him. Jen catches up to him and asks him what is wrong, but Alex strangely does not recognise her and briefly looks around, confused, before fainting. Jen then makes an anonymous call to the hospital on a nearby payphone, who send an ambulance.

At the hospital, Alex is placed in a bed as the staff begin their nightly chores. However, while they are at it, a robotic-looking mutant named Medicon, who was just released by Ransik, sneaks into the building and begins attacking the hospital staff. It is revealed that Medicon is able to alter the biological structure of lifeforms temporarily by touching them, as shown when he converts several nurses into mindless drones with enormous muscle mass, and later places the entire hospital under his control by conjoining a piece of their body.

Trivia[]

  • This is the final episode in which Alex lives in Jen's basement - he moves out of the basement and into the Clock Tower in the next episode.
